Pitching Trick
By: [email protected]

I have a trick that will allow your pitchers to pitch every day in season mode! First of all, when you begin a season, choose injuries off and Free agents on. Then Play a game. When your finished, go to free agents, Select your pitcher (His name should be in orange to indicate he's tired) and select another pitcher to replace him on the roster. Then go back and Replace the scrubb with your original Pitcher and Whala! He's not tired anymore and he can pitch every day with the same amount of strength. This trick works for starting and relief pitchers and only in season modes.

Surefire Steal 2
By: Justin Shofner ([email protected])

This trick will allow you to steal a base every time, even with the slowest players. Most times, the catcher will not even attempt a throw. Here's the trick: On the first pitch of every at-bat, the pitcher will throw the pitch after the green cross (pitch target) has flashed three times. This allows you to get great timing to steal the base. So get your three step lead as the pitcher is waiting, then as the target disappears for the third time, take off running. I've stolen second and third base every time with every person on my team. Although, it is slightly easier to steal second than third because you have an extra split second to spare. This trick will only work against the computer, obviously. For this to work, though, the pitcher cannot be tired. If he is, he goes through several motions (wiping of brow, bending over) which throws off the timing. If you want to steal later in the at-bat (after the first pitch), you should know that the target only shows up once, and you can run after it starts to disappear for the first time, but you have to be quick to do this. You need to practice this trick to get it to work with slower players, but it's really easy to learn.

Play in Secret Team's Stadiums
By: [email protected]

Okay first do the code to get the secret teams. Then choose your teams as usual. Don't pick a stadium, go into any stadium by pressing the Z button. Then leave by pressing the B button. Now search for AS for Angel Studios and N for Nintendo 64. Once you find them pick that stadium and play the game as usual.

Surefire Steal
By: Jason Shore ([email protected])

Wait till you have runners at first and third. Hit the R button three times to make them take a big lead. When the pitcher throws the pitch it the C up button to make the runner on first steal second. If you did it right, the catcher will try to chase down the runner on third, who runs back to the base. This gives the stealing runner enough time to beat the throw with time to spare.

Griffey's Home Run
By: [email protected] and [email protected]

This code will only work with Ken Griffey and on anything else but Home Run Dreby. When Griffey come up to bat press START, (on the D-Pad) Left, Left, Right, Right, Right, Left, Left and Griffey should point to the stands with his bat. And if you hit the very next pitch you'll hit a home run.

Flying Fielders
By: [email protected]

This trick will allow nine of you fielders to fly. After fielding a ball on a play run to any base except first. Throw the ball around the bases in this order: 1,2,3,H,3,2,H,1,2,3,H. On the next play instead of picking up the ball press A a couple of times and your fielder will jump into the air, press B to "swim" around the stadium, but if you saty sill for too long you will drop, then you can just press a again and start flying.

Blowup Your Batter
By: [email protected]

This code must be entered quickly. When your batting press(on the D-Pad)Right,Left,Down,Right,Left,Up,Right,Left,Down, and you batter should blowup. Don't worry he will reappear the next pitch.

Two Strikouts For One
By: Mazman

When you are pitching, let the computer get a runner on. Then strikout the next batter, and as soon as the batter strikes out make the back catcher throw the ball to the base that the runner is on. If this trick is done correctly, you should have two strikouts added to your total instead of one. This trick does not work with two outs, so you can get up to five strikouts per inning.

Wear Oppnent's Uniform
By: Phantom3 ([email protected]) via Nintendo (official site)

When you are playing the game and you are the away team, when you hit a home run wait until it shows your teammates cheering in the dugout. Press the A button and the player's jersey will change to the color of the home team's color for a short while. This will work in any mode except home run derby.

Know Opponent's Pitch
By: IGN64.com

To find out where the other player is aiming his pitch, simply press and hold bunt. The pitcher's target will appear and your bat will follow it. Release bunt when the pitcher throws the ball and hit it normally. Don't do this with a human player, as you are likely to get punched...

Unnecessary Praise
By: Steve Schulz ([email protected])

When a ball is hit in the air, run directly underneath it. Then just before you catch it, press the jump button ('B'). If you catch it while in the air, Griffey will say something like, "Look at the one handed grab!" or, "Great play kid!" It's obvious you didn't make a good play.

Access Hidden Teams
By: Steve Schulz ([email protected])

At the mode selection screen (Exibition, Season, etc.) highlight 'Exibition.' Then press all 4 c's simultaneously about 10 times quickly. When you hear a selection sound, you've entered the code correctly. Now when you select your team (in exibition) you may choose from the Nintendo team and Angel Studios team.

View Ending
By: C.J. ([email protected])

Ok here's a cool code that lets you view the credits that are shown after you beat a World Series Championship Season! First select "Exhibition" mode on the first screen. Then pick your teams. When you get to the stadium select screen pick whatever stadium you want but don't press start. Then press all four of the C buttons repeatedly until you hear a noise. Its thesame noise you hear when you select something on any of the menus during the game. It may take any amount af presses I've had times where it's taken anywhere between 12 to 50 button presses! Now press "Z" as if you were going to view the stadium. Get ready to laugh as your selected team runs out of the dugout and starts dancing, jumping , falling on the ground and many other funny things. This trick will show the team you chose for the SECOND Player.

Unhittable Pitch
By: Steve Brown and Andrew Rice via IGN64.com

Place the cross hair anywhere in the strikezone except inside the yellow hitting circle. Holding the cross hair where you want it, press Z and then Left-, Right-, or Up-C to look at one of the bases. Release the Z button first, then release the C-Button, bringing you back to looking at the batter. There should now be no cross hair or hitting circle. Now throw whatever pitch you want and the computer will swing and miss or watch it go by for a strike. I suggest throwing change ups-so your pitcher doesn't get as fatigued.

Shoot Fireworks
By: IGN64.com

When you get into the "View Stadium" mode by pressing the Z button while choosing your stadium, you can shoot fire works by pressing the Z and R button at the same time. The fireworks shoot near home plate. This code works in every stadium.

Move the Title Screen Logo
By: IGN64.com

At the title screen hold Z to make the baseball in the logo stop spinning. Keep holding Z and then move the joystick to make the baseball rotate however you like. It's a useless trick, but a fun one.
